About Hot-Dip Galvanizing Products

Hot-dip galvanizing is an industrial coating designed for durability, not aesthetics. As a result, your trailer’s galvanized surface may not appear as polished as a painted finish and will likely have some cosmetic imperfections. These imperfections are a normal part of the galvanizing process and are not considered defects. Below is a list of common abnormalities that may occur with hot-dip galvanizing:

      • Complete coverage may not always be achieved across the entire trailer.
      • Some holes may need to be drilled post-galvanizing.
      • Cold galvanizing may be required in certain areas after the hot-dipping process.
      • Steel may warp or become slightly out of shape due to the high heat involved.
      • The process can result in zinc runs or excess zinc buildup in certain areas.
      • There may be visible signs of grinding where excess zinc has been removed.
      • White oxidation may occur, particularly in humid conditions during the galvanizing process.
      • During the hot-dip galvanizing process, steel is immersed in molten zinc at high temperatures, which can cause minor deformation in certain components. This is a natural result of thermal expansion and contraction during the process and is considered normal. Such minor deformation does not affect the structural integrity or functionality of the product and is not classified as a quality defect.
      • Minor dents or imperfections may also occur during shipping or the loading and unloading of containers.

These issues will not be considered valid reasons for returns.

Pricing

Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). CCT reserves the right to change the prices of goods at any time without notice. The price displayed at the time you place your order will continue to apply even if the price changes before your order is accepted by CCT.

Size Compatibility Disclaimer

The dimensions of our trailers are provided on our website for reference; however, slight discrepancies may exist. While we strive to ensure that our trailers are suitable for a wide range of boats, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every specific boat model. In some cases, even if the dimensions technically align, individual preferences may lead to the perception that the trailer is too large or too small.

We do not provide recommendations regarding trailer sizes. It is your responsibility to ensure the trailer you purchase is suitable for your purpose, or boat’s size or weight

Please note that size incompatibility, whether due to subjective assessments or specific boat requirements, cannot be accepted as a reason for return after purchase. We strongly recommend carefully reviewing the dimensions and, if possible, inspecting the trailer in person before finalizing your purchase to ensure it meets your needs.

Order Placement

You can place an order by following the instructions on the website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. Ensure you have read and understood these conditions before proceeding. The internet can be unstable and sometimes insecure. At times, the facility to place orders may not be available, your order might not be received, or your order may be lost, misdirected, or delayed due to issues beyond CCT’s reasonable control. Take precautions to ensure the process for accessing the website does not expose you to viruses, malicious computer code, or other forms of interference. When you submit an order, you will receive an order reference number via email.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of order placement. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. Payment must be made in full before the products leave our premises. You must not pay or attempt to pay for goods through any fraudulent or unlawful means. If the name on the credit card/payment card/account does not match the name on the order, CCT may refuse to accept the order or ask for additional information (e.g., proof of identity documents). By providing your credit card/payment card/Gift Card or selecting another available payment method, you authorize CCT to deduct the price and the applicable delivery charges from such cards or payment methods.

CCT reserves the right to change the payment methods that can be used for orders at any time. CCT may not accept payment by your nominated method if:

      • Our fraud detection systems detect possible irregularities.
      • Your financial institution or payment provider declines payment.
      • Your payment card has expired.
      • Technical difficulties impact our ability to process payment.
      • Any other situation where CCT believes it is necessary to protect you or CCT from fraud or loss.

In such cases, CCT reserves the right to cancel your order or place it on hold and request additional information or arrange payment by another method.

Availability of Goods

CCT cannot guarantee the availability of goods at all times. Certain goods may occasionally be out of stock or unavailable. CCT reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the sale of any goods displayed on our website, either temporarily or permanently, without notice. If there are changes in available stock after you place an order and CCT is unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified as soon as possible. We may offer alternative options or provide a refund. CCT will not compensate for any losses caused by out-of-stock items.

Pickup Time

Pickup times may vary based on product availability. Please contact us to confirm that the product is ready before you come to pick it up. CCT will not cover transportation or accommodation costs for delayed pickup dates. While we strive to prepare orders promptly, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Sometimes, multiple customers may be picking up their orders at the same time. We will arrange for you to pick up your trailer as soon as possible. Please wait patiently.

Pickup or Delivery

You or any authorized pickup person (including drivers from transport companies) must check your goods before the trailer leaves our premises to ensure they are what you ordered and not damaged or faulty. If this is not the case, notify CCT before the trailer leaves our premises, and CCT will replace or refund the goods.

Refunds

Where CCT is obliged to refund your payment, CCT aims to initiate the refund to your bank account within 7 business days (Brisbane time). The time it takes to receive your refund depends on how quickly your financial institution processes it. Delivery fees are non-refundable, and no refund is provided for change of mind. Refunds will be processed according to our policy.

When returning goods:

      • Provide CCT with proof of purchase.
      • Return unused and undamaged items within 5 working days for refunds, exchanges, or warranties.
      • Return any bonus offers included with the original purchase.
