Terms & Policies

Century Caravans & Trailers - Terms of Sale

Welcome to Century Camper Trailer Pty Ltd ("CCT", "we", "our" or "us"). By purchasing goods from us, you agree to these Terms of Sale. CCT may amend these Terms from time to time without prior notice.

1. General

This website and its contents are provided for general information purposes only. While CCT takes reasonable care to ensure information is accurate and up to date, the website may contain typographical errors, technical inaccuracies, omissions or information that becomes outdated over time.

CCT reserves the right to amend, update, remove or correct any website content, product information or specifications at any time without notice, and may suspend or discontinue operation of the website at its discretion.

Any information, responses, recommendations or opinions published on this website are provided as general information only and do not constitute engineering, legal, financial or other professional advice. Customers should make their own enquiries and seek independent advice where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Product Information & Specifications

Product descriptions, images, dimensions, capacities, colours and specifications are provided as a guide only. CCT reserves the right to make changes arising from manufacturing improvements, supplier changes, compliance requirements or product development. Minor manufacturing tolerances and variations do not constitute defects.

3. Hot-Dip Galvanised Products

Hot-dip galvanising is an industrial coating designed for corrosion protection rather than cosmetic appearance. Products may display zinc runs, excess zinc build-up, grinding marks, white oxidation, post-galvanising drilling, cold-galvanising touch-ups, minor distortion, surface irregularities, handling marks, floor waviness, uneven floor surfaces, buckled floor appearance or other visual irregularities associated with the manufacturing and galvanising process.

These characteristics are normal manufacturing outcomes, do not affect the structural integrity or intended use of the product and are not defects. They are not grounds for return, refund, replacement or warranty claim.

4. Pricing & Promotions

All prices are in AUD and include GST unless otherwise stated. Pricing may change without notice. Once an order is confirmed and a deposit accepted, the agreed purchase price is fixed. Promotional offers, including complimentary registration offers, are not transferable and have no cash value unless expressly stated.

5. Registration & Registration Promotions

Customers are responsible for providing complete, accurate and current registration information, including all required forms, identification, [ID Number Redacted] details and supporting documentation. CCT may rely on information supplied by the customer without independent verification, and any registration remains subject to approval by the relevant registration authority.

CCT is not responsible for any delay, loss or inconvenience arising from incorrect, incomplete or missing registration information or documentation, and does not guarantee registration approval where customer information does not satisfy government requirements.

If registration information is found to be incorrect, incomplete or invalid, the customer must provide corrected information within 14 days of written request from CCT. If the customer fails to do so, CCT may take such action as reasonably necessary to protect its legal, regulatory and administrative position, including contacting the relevant authority or taking steps to reduce or remove any ongoing liability associated with the registration.

CCT may refuse to release registration plates, registration paperwork or registered goods until all required documentation has been received.

The customer must reimburse CCT for any loss, infringement, toll, fine, penalty, claim, fee, cost or expense arising from incorrect, incomplete or misleading registration information supplied by the customer.

The customer acknowledges that any action taken by CCT to reduce or remove ongoing registration-related liability may affect the validity or continued use of the registration or vehicle, and CCT will not be responsible for any resulting loss, cost, inconvenience or interruption.

6. Orders & Order Variations

Orders are not binding until accepted by CCT and any required deposit has been received.

Requests to change the model, specifications, options, dimensions, configuration or delivery location after order confirmation may be treated as a new order request and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply where CCT has already incurred costs or committed resources in relation to the order.

Nothing in this clause excludes any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Deposits

A deposit is required to confirm an order. Orders are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Upon receipt of the deposit, CCT may commence production, stock allocation, workshop scheduling, registration preparation, branch transfers and other order-related activities.

Deposits are generally non-refundable except where required by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Deposits may be applied toward reasonable costs incurred by CCT in relation to the order.

8. Finance Purchases

Finance applications are assessed by independent third-party finance providers. CCT is not responsible for finance approval decisions or processing times. If finance is approved and the customer proceeds, the deposit may be credited toward the purchase price or refunded after cleared funds are received. If finance is approved but the customer elects not to proceed, CCT may retain all or part of the deposit to cover reasonable costs already incurred. If finance is declined, CCT may deduct reasonable costs already incurred, including administration, stock allocation, scheduling, registration preparation, transport, transfers or production costs. Any remaining balance may be refunded after deduction of reasonable costs incurred by CCT.

9. Non-Standard Modifications

Custom modifications, structural changes, special requests and non-standard configurations may require a larger deposit or full payment before work commences. Once work has commenced, deposits relating to non-standard modifications become non-refundable.

10. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full cleared payment must be received before goods are released, collected or dispatched. CCT may refuse transactions where fraud concerns, verification issues or payment irregularities arise. Overdue amounts may attract interest at 8% per annum calculated daily together with any reasonable recovery costs.

CCT may refuse to release goods, registration plates, registration paperwork or accessories until all monies owing have been paid in full and all required documentation has been received.

11. Availability of Goods

Availability is not guaranteed. Products may become unavailable, be withdrawn from sale or experience delays due to supplier issues, shipping delays, production constraints or circumstances beyond CCT's reasonable control.

12. Lead Times, Pickup & Delivery

Estimated lead times, preferred pickup dates, delivery dates and invoice due dates are guides only and do not constitute confirmed dates. A pickup or delivery date is only confirmed when CCT expressly advises that the order is ready. Customers must not make travel, accommodation, transport or business arrangements based solely on estimated dates. Delays do not automatically entitle a customer to cancel an order unless otherwise required by law. CCT may charge reasonable storage fees where goods remain uncollected for more than 14 days after written notification that they are ready for collection.

Standard collection hours are Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 4:00pm, and Saturday between 9:00am and 12:00pm. CCT is closed on public holidays. Customers should allow sufficient time for inspection, registration verification, payment confirmation, paperwork and handover procedures. CCT reserves the right to refuse or reschedule collection where a customer arrives too close to closing time and there is insufficient time to safely complete the collection process.

13. Inspection Before Departure

The customer, or an authorised representative including a transport company driver, must inspect goods before departure from CCT premises. Any incorrect items, shortages or visible damage must be reported before departure. Any transport company, freight carrier, driver or third-party representative collecting goods is deemed to be acting as the customer's authorised agent.

14. Retention of Title & Risk

Ownership of goods remains with CCT until all monies owing have been paid in full and cleared funds have been received. Risk passes to the customer upon collection, delivery or dispatch, whichever occurs first.

15. Boat Trailer Disclaimer

Trailer dimensions and capacities are provided as a guide only. CCT does not guarantee compatibility with any specific boat. Customers are responsible for ensuring suitability for their intended use. CCT does not provide boat fitting, mounting or adjustment services unless separately agreed.

16. Refunds & Cancellations

Deposits are generally non-refundable where a customer changes their mind, cancels an order after costs have been incurred or where work has commenced on a non-standard modification. Refunds may be provided where required under the ACL or where CCT is unable to supply the ordered product.

17. Trailer Safety & Load Compliance

Customers are responsible for ensuring loads comply with all applicable laws relating to dimensions, weight limits and load restraint requirements. Customers should regularly inspect couplings, chains, wheel nuts, tyres, suspension components, lights and braking systems.

18. Privacy & Intellectual Property

Customer information is handled in accordance with CCT's Privacy Policy. All website content, logos, images and text remain the property of CCT and may not be reproduced without permission.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CCT is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of income, loss of use, loss of opportunity, business interruption, accommodation costs, transport costs, towing costs, hire costs, storage costs, labour costs, contractor costs or downtime.

Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

20. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Request compensation for any drop in the value of the goods.

Note: A “major failure” is determined by industry standards and may not align with personal opinions.

Change of mind or personal preference.

Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.

Within this period, the deposit can be refunded unconditionally, provided:

The refund request is made within 24 hours.

The customer has not yet picked up the vehicle.

After 24 Hours

If the trailer or caravan has already been assembled, the deposit will not be refunded.

In the absence of a major problem, we reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee based on the total amount.

CCT® Price Beat Policy

At Century Trailers, we are committed to offering our customers genuine value and competitive pricing.

If you find a lower price on an identical trailer or caravan from another legitimate Australian business, we’ll do our best to match it — provided it meets the conditions below.

🔹 How to Request a Price Beat

Simply present proof of a publicly advertised price or an official written quote from a competitor for the identical product, at the time of purchase.

Once your request is verified and the competitor’s product is confirmed as identical in brand, specification, and build standard, and in stock for immediate purchase using the same payment method and terms (including any finance options), we will happily match the price for you.

🔹 Verification

  • Century Trailers reserves the right to verify any competitor offer by:
  • Contacting the competitor directly, or
  • Inspecting their official business website or advertised materials.
  • The competitor must be a legitimate, active Australian business that publicly advertises and sells comparable trailers or caravans through a verifiable business website or physical premises.
  • Unverifiable, altered, or misleading quotes will not be accepted.

🔹 Exclusions

The Price Beat Policy does not apply to:

  • Quotes or offers that cannot be independently verified.
  • Products that are not identical in brand, build, or specifications (including chassis size, floor thickness, braking system, or accessories).
  • Competitor products that are not in stock or not available for immediate purchase.
  • Offers including cashback, bonus items, bulk discounts, or bundled packages.
  • Clearance, discontinued, refurbished, or open-box items.
  • Online-only retailers, auction sites, or private sellers.
  • Competitors without an active trading presence or official business website.
  • Pricing errors, misprints, or falsified/altered documents.
  • Prices based on loyalty, membership, or trade programs.
  • Competitors, resellers, or persons purchasing for resale or commercial redistribution.

🔹 Final Decision

Century Trailers reserves the right to decline any Price Beat request where the authenticity or accuracy of a competitor’s quote cannot be reasonably confirmed.
